The four top seeds took care of business Monday in the quarterfinals of the Section 3A team tournament.
Top-seeded Luverne and No. 2 Lac qui Parle Valley/Dawson-Boyd both won its matches 7-0, while No. 3 Montevideo and No. 4 Worthington won 6-1.
All four return to action today in Redwood Falls. The semifinals start at noon with Luverne and Worthington, and LQPV/DB and Montevideo meet at 1:30 p.m. The championship match is scheduled to follow at 3 p.m.
Luverne is the defending champion.

Jess Hansen defeated Trase Leuck 6-0, 6-1 at 1-singles as No. 2-seeded Lac qui Parle Valley/Dawson-Boyd shut out Pipestone on Monday.
The LQPV/DB pairing of Hunter Olson and Trevor Sigdahl defeated Jacob Gelderman and Noah Onken 6-1, 6-2 at 1-doubles. All of the matches were won in straight sets.
Up next for LQPV/DB will No. 3-seed Montevideo today in the semifinals.

No. 3-seeded Montevideo bounced Yellow Medicine East despite cold temperatures on Monday to begin the playoffs.
Montevideo’s Jared Saue defeated Cody Spay 6-0, 6-1 in 1-singles and the Thunder Hawks swept the rest of the singles matches, also in straight sets.
YME got its lone point in the 2-doubles match when Cody Zimmer and Jake Guertin defeated Donny Albers and Brandon Johnson 7-6, 2-6, 6-2.
Montevideo challenges No. 3-seed Lac qui Parle Valley/Dawson-Boyd today in the semifinals at Redwood Falls.
