ST. CLOUD -- Willmar scored seven times in the fourth inning and thumped St. Cloud Tech 11-3 in the second game of a Central Lakes Conference doubleheader Tuesday.
St. Cloud Tech won the opener 12-1.
In Game 2, Willmar collected six hits in the fourth inning, including two apiece from Derrick Loiselle and Adam Fagerstrom, as well as a walk, an error and two hit batsmen.
Nathanial Swoyer belted a two-run homer for the Cardinals in the third inning.
Andrew Bangen hurled all seven innings for the win. He gave up one earned run, while walking two and striking out nine.

Loiselle, Fagerstrom and Jake Rambow had two hits apiece.
It was the first conference win of the season for Willmar (1-6, 2-9).
In the first game, Willmar was limited to two hits by Nick Baker and Brady Anderson. Baker tossed four innings for the win, giving up both hits, while walking four and striking out four. Anderson walked two and fanned one in the fifth inning.
Stier had a run-scoring single in the first inning and Ryan Lawler hit a double to account for the two Willmar hits.
Willmar will play at Brainerd on Thursday in another Central Lakes Conference game and then plays at Hutchinson on Friday in a non-conference game.
