ST. CLOUD - The Ridgewater baseball team was 1-3 in two weekend doubleheaders at Central Lakes in Brainerd and against St. Cloud Technical at Dick Putz Field in St. Cloud.
The Warriors dropped two against Central Lakes, in Brainerd, falling 4-0 and 6-5.
On Sunday, Ridgewater lost the opener 9-2 to St. Cloud Technical but salvaged the split with a 12-9 win in Game Two.
In Sunday’s second game, Lucas Kruse was 4-for-5 and he drove in two runs and scored twice, and Tyler Donner, Brandon Christenson, Kyle Brazil and Matt Schmitz all had two hits, with Christenson driving in two runs and Brazil and Schmitz both finishing with one RBI.
The Warriors are 5-5 in the MCAC Southern Division and are back in action with a doubleheader today in Rochester, beginning at 2 p.m.
