College Basketball: Warriors rip it up

WILLMAR -- Ridgewater was on its game from outside and inside the 3-point line and the Warriors rolled to a 103-75 win over Sisseton-Wahpeton on Wednesday at Ridgewater College.

WILLMAR - Ridgewater was on its game from outside and inside the 3-point line and the Warriors rolled to a 103-75 win over Sisseton-Wahpeton on Wednesday at Ridgewater College.

The Warriors hit 13 of 27 3-point shots and shot almost 54 percent overall.

Daviante Ostrander was a scoring machine, hitting 13 of 16 field goals, including all eight of his 3-point attempts, and led the Warriors with 36 points. He also had four rebounds, four assists and four steals.

The Warriors came out firing on all cylinders, starting the game with a 13-0 run that set the tone for the entire game. Ridgewater led 31-7 before the halfway mark in the first half.

Travis Visser scored 19 points and owned the boards, finishing with 14 rebounds. Seven came off the offensive glass.

Jadaunte Sutton has 12 points and eight rebounds, and Trent Weispfennig came off the bench to score 12 points.
