College cross country: Keller heads for 4th national XC meet

After winning the Central Region Championship on Saturday in Northfield (6k time of 21:32), Minnesota, Morris cross country runner Linda Keller, a former Paynesville Bulldog from Hawick, was named All-Region by the United States Track and Field & Cross Country Coaches Association.

She will compete in the NCAA Championships for the fourth time this Saturday with the race starting at noon in at the LaVern Gibson Cross Country Course outside of Terre Haute, Ind.

Keller is a four-time Upper Midwest Athletic Conference individual champion and two-time All-American. She placed seventh in the national meet last year.
