Wide Receivers: Kevlin Jones (6-3/215 Brunswick, Ga), Tight end; Chris Tidwell (5-9/185 Collinsville, Illinois); Greg McPherson (6-3/210 Buffalo); Brandon Jackson (5-10/180 Zeeland, Michigan).
“Lots of depth here. We’ll use four different receivers depending on the situation,” Baumgarn said.
Tight end: Johnnie Pope (6-2/225 Highland Park, Michigan); Marques Shepreauz (6-2/215, Bloomington).
Tackles: Antoinio Reynaga (6-1/255, Lansing, Michigan); Joshua Harris (6-4/260 Collinsville, Illinois).
Guards: Chris Nicolai (6-1/365 Bangor, Wisconsin); Addonise Crews (6-3/280) Pensacola, Florida).
Center: Eric Shaw (6-2/320 Minneapolis).
Quarterback: Tony Ayala (6-2/200 Minneapolis); Jeremiah Grimsely (6-0/170, Waconia).
“Ayala has a great grasp of the offense and can make all the throws. He’s a leader, too. He could be the best I’ve had here,” Baumgarn said.
Fullback: Matt Alberts (5-8/220, New Germany); DaShawn Bell (5-10/190 Detroit).
Running back: Dominick Wise 5-8/210 Madison, Illinois); Dan Maras (6-0/200, Jeffers); DaShawn Bell (5-10/190, Detroit).
“Real solid here. Our rushing game should open up the pass. We’re without sophomore fullback Roosevelt Austin (Sauk Centre) right now; he’s out with a swollen knee suffered in a collision the first play of our scrimmage at Crown College,” Baumgarn said.
Punter: Jones.
Placekicker: Glenn Meyers (6-2/205, Blaine).
Defense
Linemen: Brandon Boateng (6-3/245, Belle Plaine; Reggie Gayden (6-1/270, Indianapolis); Jack Goeman (6-2/235, Lakeville); Roy Johnson (6-2/270, Detroit); Chris Sims (5-11/375, Pensacola, Florida); Tranard Styles (6-1/235, Plant City, Florida).
“We’re two-deep here and each one can play. We’ve got a package where we can get speed off the edges,” Baumgarn said.
