College football: Wise’s 2 TDs power Warriors

FERGUS FALLS - Dominick Wise scored twice, including the game-winner in overtime, as Ridgewater upended M State Fergus Falls 20-14 on Saturday.
Tied 14-14 in overtime, Wise ran for a 12-yard score, propelling the Warriors to their third victory. They improved to 3-1, after suffering their first loss of the season last week to Rochester.
MSFF struck first with a 65-yard TD reception by Blake Orhen, but Ridgewater tied it back up on wide receiver Eddie Collins’ 80-yard kickoff return.
After a scoreless second quarter, Wise punched through for a 6-yard score in the third to give the Warriors a 14-7 lead.
The Spartans tied it again in the fourth on a big 60-yard touchdown pass from Ja’Vonte Johnson to Paris Woods.
Wise, a freshman out of Madison, Illinois, ran for 92 yards in all, accounting for most of the Warriors’ 109 rushing yards.
Quarterback Tony Ayala passed for 153 yards, completing 15 of 35 pass attempts.
