COCOA BEACH, Fla. -- Ridgewater went 3-1 over the weekend to start the season in four of six games scheduled to be played in Florida.
The Lady Warriors will play two more games today before returning home.
Ridgewater clobbered Henry Ford 28-0 in its first game on Saturday, then blanked Itasca 6-0. On Sunday, the lady Warriors were blanked by Kalamazoo 11-0 before edging Rock Valley 2-1.
Brandi Bodin had seven hits and nine RBI ames for the Lady Warriors. Emily Roelike had five hits and five RBI. Kristin Kahle picked up two wins and did not allow an earned run over 10 innings. Jodi Merritt also pitched a shutout.

Ridgewater plated 21 runs in the third inning. Brandi Bodin went 3-for-3, including a double and a triple, scored four runs and drove in six. Brooke Henderson was 3-for-3 with four runs scored and five RBI. Emily Roeilike had two hits and drove in three runs.
Kristin Kahle worked three innings for the win, allowing no hits and one walk, while striking out four.

Brandi Bodin had a run-scoring single in the third and a two-run triple in the seventh, finishing 2-for-4. Chris-tie Clanton went 3-for-4 and drove in a run and Emily Roelike was 2-for-4, scored three runs and drove in two.

Brandi Bodin was 2-for-2. Nicole Blizil had a two-run single in the fourth inning for the two Ridgewater runs. Christie Clanton led off with a walk, Bodin singled and both runners moved up on a wild pitch before Blizil's two-out hit to right-center field.
