WHITE BEAR LAKE — The Ridgewater volleyball team now has an 8-8 record after a 3-1 Minnesota College Athletic Conference loss to Century College on Wednesday.
The Wood Ducks beat the Warriors 25-23, 20-25, 25-23, 25-16..
Madi Leyendecker, a first-year setter from Paynesville, recorded 23 assists, 14 digs and two kills for Ridgewater.
“We were unable to find consistent rhythm against a well-controlled Century College tonight,” coach Amanda Bohlsen said. “We look forward to our weekend of home games.”
Ridgewater beat Century 3-2 on Sept. 18 in Willmar. The Warriors won that one 33-31, 23-25, 25-22, 16-25, 16-14.

Ridgewater has a home match at 6:30 p.m. Friday against Riverland Community College, then plays again at home Saturday against Anoka-Ramsey Community College.
