College Volleyball: Ridgewater 1-3 at Florida tournament

LEESBURG, Fla. - Ridgewater College went 1-3 in tough competition at the Lake Sumter State College Invitational over Friday and Saturday.

The Lady Warriors (17-8) posted their lone victory against the host team, 3-2, their final match Saturday.

Tegan VanMoer supplied 15 kills in 52 attacks in that match and Taylor Sharpe made 21 defensive saves on the back line.

Ridgewater (17-8) returns to action on Wednesday when the No. 3-ranked team in NJCAA Division III hosts Minnesota West in a MCAC Southern Division match starting at 6:30 p.m. The Warriors swept Minnesota West earlier in the season.
