WILLMAR — The Ridgewater College volleyball team was able to win its final home match of the season Friday night.
The Warriors beat Riverland Community College, 3-2.
Ridgewater beat the Blue Devils of Austin 25-19, 25-17, 18-25, 21-25, 15-9 in a Minnesota College Athletic Conference match.
“We are so proud of how this team continues to fight this season through every set and every match,” Warriors head coach Amanda Bohlsen said. “We are still working to maintain momentum throughout those first three sets to secure quick wins, but we are ecstatic that they were able to pull the ‘W’ tonight in our last home match for 2022.”
The Warriors’ balanced attack was led by Harley Kunstleben, who had 16 kills, two blocks, 16 digs and three service aces. Kunstleben is a sophomore from Paynesville.

Liz Koenen added 10 kills for the Warriors. She’s a freshman from MACCRAY.
Yansi Flores had 27 set assists, 15 digs and six kills. She’s a freshman from Yellow Medicine East.
Ridgewater concludes the regular season at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in Worthington against Minnesota West.
