ANOKA — Ridgewater finished 3-1 at a season-opening tournament at Anoka-Ramsey after losing to Central Lakes Conference of Brainerd.
CLC beat Ridgewater 20-28, 25-21, 25-20.
“The team left everything they had on the court after this long weekend and although we were all a bit disappointed we couldn’t pull out the final win, it gave us some direction for focus before we get into conference competition,” Ridgewater head coach Amanda Bohlsen said. “We are excited to get back to working hard in practices this next week.”
The Warriors beat Mesabi 3-0 also on Saturday after winning two matches Friday. Ridgewater won 25-19, 25-23 and 25-22.
