WILLMAR — Call it a good weekend for the Ridgewater College volleyball team.

The Warriors completed a 2-0 homestand with a 3-2 victory over Century College on Saturday.

Ridgewater beat the Wood Ducks 33-31, 23-25, 25-22, 16-25, 16-14. The Warriors beat Western Tech 3-1 on Friday.

“We couldn’t be more proud of how the team competed these last two days,” Ridgewater head coach Amanda Bohlsen said. “We faced a well-controlled Century College team (Saturday) and the team rallied together to seal the final set in a close, hard-fought, five-game match.
“We look forward to getting back to practice to prepare for a three-game stretch on the road (this) week.”

Ridgewater plays Wednesday at Anoka-Ramsey, then plays at Rochester on Friday and Western Tech in La Crosse on Saturday.
