LA CROSSE, Wis. - The Ridgewater Warriors improved to 2-0 in the MCAC South with a 25-23, 25-16, 25-7 victory over Western Wisconsin Tech on Friday.
Natalie Feldhake had eight kills and four ace blocks for the Warriors, and Baylie Kubesh added seven kills and six ace serves.
Alyssa Stern notched three ace serves and two kills, with Kaitlyn Sterner collecting two kills, two ace serves and 27 set assists.
“It took us awhile to eliminate errors and get in control of our ball handling,” Warriors’ head coach Joe Sussenguth said. “We stayed aggressive though and took better care of the ball in serve receive as the match went on.”
The Warriors (2-0, 5-1) play today against Rochester.
