MOORHEAD -- A technical fall from Klinton Van Heuveln averted a Ridgewater shutout Friday as the Warriors fell to Concordia-Moorhead 34-5 in non-conference dual.
The Cobbers, members of the MIAC, won the other nine matches, but only two contested wins earned more than three points for NCAA Division III school.
Four matches were decided by three or less points, including Ridgewater's Dominick Platow's tough 7-5 overtime loss at heavyweight.
Van Heuveln, a sophomore from Pennock, outscored his opponent 19-2 in the 149-pound bout.
It was the first dual of the young season for the Warriors. They had competed in two invites the past two Saturdays.
