College wrestling: Warriors 3rd at MCAC tourney

GRAND RAPIDS - The Ridgewater wrestlers took third place in the MCAC Conference Tournament on Saturday with a score of 50.5.
Warriors Jacob Backlund (133 pounds) and Chris Schmidt (157) took second place in their weight classes.
Thomas Keskey (141), Travis Cripe (174) and John Wittman (285) each went 2-1.
Ridgewater next wrestles Thursday at Rochester Community & Technical College.
