FERGUS FALLS — The Ridgewater men’s basketball team opened up a big lead, then hung on to beat Minnesota State-Fergus Falls, 91-89 Wednesday.
The Warriors led 46-31 at halftime, but the Spartans stormed back by scoring 58 second-half points.
Ridgewater shot 53% (35 of 66) from the field. Leading the way was Jaylyn Clardy. The freshman from Pensacola, Florida, came off the bench to score 23 points to go with 10 rebounds and two assists.
Cartier Bickley, a 6-foot-4 sophomore from Akron, Ohio, added 19 points and seven rebounds for the Warriors. Deron Lacy had 16 pints and Chris Neal 12 for Ridgewater.

Langston Davis led MS-Fergus Falls with 26 points. The Spartans made 9 of 45 3-point attempts, good for 20%, and shot 39.5% overall (34 of 86).
Ridgewater next plays at 3 p.m. Saturday at Rochester Technical & Community College.
