Women's basketball: St. Cloud downs Ridgewater 62-48

WILLMAR — The Ridgewater women’s basketball team fell to St. Cloud Technical & Community College 62-48 Monday night.

Two St. Cloud players from the west central Minnesota area started and performed well for St. Cloud.

Erin Knisley, a 6-foot-2 freshman forward from New London-Spicer, had 18 points, 13 rebounds and six blocks. Jackie Lindsey, a 5-8 freshman guard from Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa. She had 12 points and seven assists for the Cyclones.

Ashley Prahl led Ridgewater with 12 points, 12 rebounds and three steals. She’s a 5-9 freshman post from Willmar. Harley Kunstleben had 11 points and seven rebounds for the Warriors. She’s a 5-7 freshman win from Paynesville.

Ridgewater played seven players on its roster.


Ridgewater’s next game is 5:30 p.m. Tuesday against Minnesota State Community & Technical College in Fergus Falls.
