ALEXANDRIA -- The Willmar boys cross country team placed fourth at the Alexandria Invite Saturday. The girls team took 11th.
Mowlid Mohamud paced the Cardinals with a 12th-place finish in 17:01. Kyle Economy of Chaska won the race in 16:22. Stillwater won the boys title with 53 points.
Jayne Cole finished 30th in 16:15 for the Cardinal girls. Heidi Peterson of Sartell won the race in 14:41. Roseville took first with 54 points.
