MINNEAPOLIS — The Lac qui Parle Valley/Dawson-Boyd Shadows completed the sweep at the state Class A dance tournament Saturday night.
The Shadows won the high kick competition for the second straight year after winning the jazz division Friday again.
LQPV/D-B had five ranking points. Yellow Medicine East finished second with 13 and Frazee was third with 16. BOLD finished ninth with 41 and Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City was 12th with 47.
LQPV/D-B used 30 dancers for its high-kick performance, including 10 seniors.
The 10 seniors are: Laura Baldwin, Carissa Besonen, Rachel Hahn, Jose Munsterman, Addisyn Oie, Aaliyah Schommer, Paige Torstenson, Hope Trager, Annika Trygestad and Eden Weber.

YME, meanwhile, had two seniors: Emily Cobb and Emily LeBlanc.
