NEW YORK MILLS -- Joel Bauman ran for 283 yards and four touchdowns as Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg steamrolled New York Mills 46-7 in a non-conference football game on Friday.
Bauman scored on runs of 35, 3, 1 and 76 yards. Aaron Doraska ran for touchdowns of 16 and 49 yards for the Fighting Saints in his only carries. Jonah Johnson hauled in a 22-yard touchdown pass from Jake Armstrong in the opening quarter for the other KMS touchdown.
The Fighting Saints' defense limited New York Mills to 177 yards of total offense. Lee Keil and Matt Stassen had 12 tackles each, while Chris Vadness and Jake Armstrong had 11 apiece and John Adkins 10.
