ADRIAN -- Under muddy conditions, Dawson-Boyd bounced back from suffering its first loss last week by tripping Adrian 14-6 in overtime Wednesday in Little Sioux Conference action.
Matt Anderson scored on a two-yard run in the fourth quarter to tie the game before finding the end zone from three yards out in overtime to give Dawson-Boyd its first lead of the game. Adrian committed two penalties and was sacked on fourth-and-long on its overtime possession.
Anderson ran for 110 yards in 20 carries to account for over half of the Blackjacks' 188 yards of total offense. He also caught one pass for 11 yards.
