SLAYTON -- MACCRAY outlasted Murray County Central in a Little Sioux Conference road game 28-26 on Thursday night.
The Wolverines stuffed a MCC two-point conversion with 2:27 left in the fourth quarter and then ran out the clock.
Tied 20-all, MACCRAY (4-2, 4-2) went up 28-20 in the third quarter when quarterback Caleb Hanson hooked up with Shaun Condon for a 32-yard touchdown. Hanson then tossed to Tyler Wrede for a two-point conversion.
Wrede scored in the second quarter on a four-yard pass play to make it 14-14 tie at halftime.
Eric Wieneke scored three touchdowns for MCC (3-3, 3-3) while rushing for 164 yards in 24 attempts, but he was stopped on the run for the tying points.

Hanson threw for 158 yards. Condon caught seven passes for 119 yards.
