MONTEVIDEO -- Tom Grages caught touchdown passes of 58 and 22 yards from Troy Hendrickson and Montevideo defeated St. Cloud Cathedral 31-27 in a non-conference game Friday night.
Montevideo gave new head coach Dave Vik his first win.
Trailing 7-0 in the first quarter, Montevideo got a safety to get things going when Garrett Norby tackled a Crusader runner in the end zone.
Logan Ackerman then score on runs of 2 and 1 yards in the second and third quarters, respectivley, to give the Thunder Hawks the lead for good. Ackerman finished with 35 carries for 170 yards.
Grages and Hendrickson hooked up in the third and fourth quarters.

Grages finished with four catches for 123 yards. Hendrickson completed 8 of 15 passes for 163 yards and no interceptions.
