MORRIS -- Morris built up a 28-0 lead in the fourth quarter en route to a 28-10 win over Minnewaska in Section 5AA football action Tuesday.
The Tigers (6-3) will play at No. 1-seed Eden Valley-Watkins Saturday.
Ryan Beyer ran for two touchdowns and passed for another, Tyler Hansen had a rushing TD and Morris scored on a safety to account for its points. The safety came on an intentional grounding penalty in the end zone.
Coincidentally, the Lakers (4-5) scored their first points on the same penalty -- intentional grounding in the end zone. Mike Whittemore also caught a 14-yard pass from Andrew Amundson.

The No. 3-seeded Sting (6-3) had Bobby Lecy, Derek Dyrdahl, Mason Hegna, Tyler Sand and Dillon Hoffman score on runs and Justin Tongen return an interception for another touchdown. YME will meet No. 2 BOLD in the semifinals Saturday at 7 p.m. in Olivia.
Dyrdahl rushed for 123 yards on just 11 carries to help YME pick up 17 first downs.
LQPV (3-6) got its lone touchdown in the fourth quarter when Sam Haas returned a kickoff 68 yards following YME's last score.

BOLD's defense was too much for Paynesville as the Warriors gave up just eight yards of total offense over the last three quarters of play. After Jason Kampsen threw a 10-yard touchdown pass to Ben Olson and ran in the two-point conversion to give the Bulldogs (3-6) an 8-6 lead, BOLD (7-2) scored 33 unanswered points to advance to Saturday's 7 p.m. semifinal with Yellow Medicine East in Olivia.
Alex Steffel chewed up 198 yards on 31 carries and scored twice as BOLD gained 314 yards on the ground from 62 carries. Steffel went over 1,000-yard mark for the season, the second BOLD back to do so with the other being Brent O'Halloran, who ran for 85 yards and a score.
Mike Kingstrom, who opened the BOLD scoring by hauling in a 22-yard pass from Kyle Athmann, had two sacks as did Andrew Brooks.
