NEW LONDON -- Jayme Moten threw three touchdown passes and ran for another as unbeaten New London-Spicer routed Annandale 38-6 in the Section 6AAA semifinals Saturday.
NLS, the top seed, will face West Central North Conference rival Albany in the championship Friday at 7 p.m. at St. Cloud State. The Wildcats are the defending section champions and reached the state semifinals last season.
Moten connected with Aaron Jenny twice for scoring strikes of 13 yards in the first quarter and 10 yards in the third quarter, and also teamed up with Erik Tengwall for a 36-yard TD in the third quarter. Moten also scampered 72 yards for a touchdown in the second quarter.
Moten completed 8 of 14 passes for 107 yards and was also picked off twice. Jenny had five catches for 51 yards.
Jake Essler scored on runs of 23 and 4 yards for the Wildcats. He finished with 142 yards in 15 carries and also had an interception.

John Nething was in on 10 tackles and Luke Peterson made eight stops for NLS (10-0).

Ryan McCann and Ryan Tri each ran for two touchdowns and Eden Valley-Watkins finished with 275 yards on the ground in semifinal clash.
"They were very physical and we didn't respond," said Morris coach Jerry Witt. "They are a very good team, but I thought we would give them a better game than we did."

Morris passed for 119 yards, but had only 12 yards rushing.
Defensively, Eric Riley had 14 tackles and Cody Hickman and Wade Backman had 13 each.
McCann finished with 124 yards in 19 carries.
