BENSON -- Benson held Montevideo to just 17 percent shooting and went on to upend the Thunder Hawks 60-32 in a West Central South Conference girls basketball game on Friday.
The Thunder Hawks took an early 11-9 lead, but the Braves took control with a 20-4 run to end the first half leading 29-15.
The Braves started the second half with an 18-1 run.
Abby Fragodt had 11 points and 15 rebounds for the Braves (9-4, 15-5). Kayla Hampton and Emily Auch had 10 points each.
Amber Barnes with seven points was the top Montevideo scorer.
