MONTEVIDEO -- Julia Ahrndt sank four 3-pointers and scored 20 points to help Benson beat Montevideo 58-47 in a West Central South Conference girls basketball game Thursday.
The Braves drained 21-of-29 free throws to just 4-of-13 for Montevideo.
Emily Auch added 10 points for the Braves. Abby Fragodt pulled down 12 rebounds to go with five points.
Beka Schwendemann scored a career-high 30 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and dished out three assists for Montevideo. Brooke Tastad had 12 points.
