LE CENTER -- Four players scored 10 points for Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart as the Mustangs upended New Ulm Cathedral 68-54 Saturday to win the Le Center Tournament.
Abby Zuhlsdorf, Courtney Kramer, Remi Werner and Tori Swanson all netted 10 points for the Mustangs, who overcame shooting just 36 percent (26-for-72) from the field to improve to 2-0.
The Mustangs grabbed 55 rebounds, including 22 offensive boards, with Werner collecting 10 to post a double-double. Jessie Kalenberg hooked another nine rebounds and also handed out a team-high six assists.
BLHS edged Waterville-Elysian-Morristown 57-51 in the semifinals on Thursday to reach the championship game.
