WILLMAR - Ten different players scored for Willmar, and the Cardinals rolled over Sauk Rapids 59-29 on Thursday.

The Cardinals improved to 8-7 in Central Lakes Conference play and 12-13 overall. They play their regular-season finale today in Willmar against Rocori. 

“We played a solid overall game,” Willmar head coach Dustin Carlson said. “The bench girls really stepped up tonight with no drop off in play. Great effort by the whole team tonight.”

Courtney Magnuson and Leah Ruter collected 12 points each, with Ruter sinking three treys.

Sami Doering grabbed 5 rebounds and 4 steals while scoring 4 points, and Jordan Martins had 3 points and 6 assists.
