NEW LONDON - A pair of free throws from Glencoe-Silver Lake's McKenna Monahan with 1.5 seconds left on the clock put the Panthers on top for a 47-45 victory over New London-Spicer Thursday night.
Monahan scored 27 of her team's 47 points as the Panthers held off the Wildcats in the second half following a tie at the break.
Shea Oman scored 17 points for the Wildcats with four made 3-pointers and Emma Hanson hauled in 11 rebounds.
New London-Spicer will hit the road for a Wright County Conference battle with Annandale Tuesday night.
