GROVE CITY -- Sydney Larson's putback with two seconds left lifted Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City to a 48-47 win over Eden Valley-Watkins in a non-conference girls basketball game Thursday.
The Eagles made 1-of-2 free throws with 15 seconds left to take a one-point lead. The Falcons' Chastity Pautzke took a game-winning shot and missed, but Larson was there to claim the rebound and score before the final buzzer.
She finished with 12 points and 11 rebounds. Katie Knisley led the team with 16 points. Pautzke added 14. She made both of her three-point attempts, which were the only ones for ACGC (5-2).
Emily Stommes tallied 11 points to lead EVW (2-6).
