Girls Basketball: Litch, Sauk to battle for tourney spot

The Litchfield Dragons and Sauk Centre Mainstreeters girls basketball teams will play for the Section 6AA championship tonight at St. Cloud State University.

The Litchfield Dragons and Sauk Centre Mainstreeters girls basketball teams will play for the Section 6AA championship tonight at St. Cloud State University.

Game time is 6 p.m. at Halenbeck Hall.

The Dragons (20-8) defeated New London-Spicer 60-53 in overtime on Tuesday at St. John's University to win the South Sub-Section championship, and the Mainstreeters (24-4) won the North title with a 58-48 win over Staples-Motley on Tuesday, also at SJU.
