MARSHALL — With a trio of players with double-digit points, the Lac qui Parle Valley girls basketball team thwarted St. Clair 71-50 at the Borch’s Holiday Classic at the R/A Facility on the campus of Southwest Minnesota State University.
Macie Lund hit all four of the Eagles’ 3-pointers, putting up a team-high 18 points. Taylor Shelstad followed with 15 points, and Cassadie Olson also broke double figures with 11 points.
The Cyclones’ Emily Carlson had 18 points in the loss.
LQPV returns to the R/A Facility at 10 a.m. Tuesday to face Edgerton.
