MADISON -- Trailing by 11 points midway through the second half, Lac qui Parle Valley rallied to beat Canby 55-53 in a non-conference girls basketball game on Monday.
Micaela Erickson scored 15 of her team-high 21 points in the second half, including all three of her three-pointers, to spark the Eagles (18-6). Tied 53-53, the Eagles went ahead with 1:20 left on Erickson's jumper in the lane.
Canby's three-point attempt at the buzzer missed.
Whitley Strei added 13 points for the Eagles and Lexi Monson led with 10 rebounds.
Riley Nordgaard had 18 of her 23 points in the first half for Canby (18-6).
