MURDOCK -- MACCRAY answered a Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg run with one of its own to regain the lead and the Wolverines collected their 14th consecutive win by beating the Fighting Saints 49-35 in a Camden North Conference girls basketball game Tuesday.
MACCRAY (12-1, 16-2) led 19-13 at halftime, but KMS (7-5, 9-9) went on a quick 6-0 run to tie it up. The Wolverines then pieced together a 7-0 run to take control.
The Wolverines were led by Jenna Tebben's 16 points and 10 rebounds. Alicia Koenen added 10 points and Andrea Ervin collected seven assists and five steals.
Britta Diem had 14 points and Katelyn Lottman 11 to pace KMS. Lottman also grabbed nine rebounds, while Tracy Braaten made five steals.
