MARSHALL -- MACCRAY avenged a loss to Minneota two weeks ago, upending the Vikings 66-62 in the Section 3A-North semifinals on Tuesday at Southwest Minnesota State University.
No. 1 Canby held off No. 5 upset-minded Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg 55-50 in the other semifinal game.

Trailing 58-49, the Wolverines surged in the game's final four minutes to upend the No. 2 Vikings.
When No. 3 MACCRAY (20-4) turned up the defensive pressure, Alicia Koenen turned two steals into layups and netted a three-pointer to spark the rally. Koenen scored all 14 of her points in the second half. She was also credited with 12 assists.

The victory avenged a 16-point loss on Feb. 12 to Minneota (21-4).
Teagan Molden led the scoring for MACCRAY with 16 points, while Jenna Tebben tallied 10.
Ashlynn Muhl poured in 23 points for the Vikings. Taya Kockelman sank six 3-pointers for all 18 of her points.
