CLARA CITY -- Minneota went on an 8-0 run to start the second half to establish some breathing room before holding off MACCRAY 41-37 Tuesday in a matchup between the Camden Conference division leaders.

The Vikings have now won 13 straight to improve to 10-0 in the South and 15-1 overall. The visitors trailed most of the first half before scoring late in the final moments of the opening half to take a 20-18 lead at halftime. Taylor Reiss had 12 points and Molly Hennen followed with 9 to pace the Vikings.

Paige Schwitters netted a game-high 13 points, Teagan Molden 10 and Abbey Thissen 9 for North-leading MACCRAY, who lost its first home game this season to fall to 8-2 in the loop and 14-3 overall. Thissen hooked 13 boards and Schwitters grabbed another 10.

Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg matched Russell-Tyler-Ruthton point for point until the second overtime when the Fighting Saints pulled ahead for a 74-70 victory in a Camden Conference game on Tuesday.

Ellen Johnson had a double-double for the Fighting Saints (4-5, 4-11) with 29 points and 14 rebounds. She also grabbed 5 steals.

Ali Clark also had a double-double for KMS with 20 points and 10 rebounds.
