Girls Basketball: Montevideo beats YME

MONTEVIDEO -- Brooke Tastad poured in 22 points and two other players scored in double figures for Montevideo as the Thunder Hawks upended West Central South Conference rival Yellow Medicine East 57-47 in their regular-season finale Tuesday.

Beka Schwendemann added 12 points and Amber Barnes had 11 for Montevideo (9-7, 11-12).

Aimee Johnson had 13 points and Emily Baker supplied 10 points and 11 rebounds for the Sting (7-9, 10-11).
