NEW LONDON -- Abbey Knisely scored 15 of her 17 points in the second half and Taylor Thunstedt had 11 of her 17 points in the first half as New London-Spicer drubbed St. Cloud Cathedral 63-36 in a West Central North Conference game on Tuesday.
The win was the eighth straight for the Wildcats (5-1, 11-1), who limited the Crusaders to just 15 points in the second half.
Thunstedt made four of NLS's eight 3-pointers and also dished out five assists. Allison Ruter led the Wildcats with 10 rebounds, while Knisely and Brogen Lothert had eight each. Knisely also blocked five shots.
