MORA -- Mora's three-point shooting put a scare into New London-Spicer, but the Wildcats held off the Mustangs 36-33 in a West Central North Conference girls basketball game Friday.
Mora (8-7, 15-8) came back from a 20-10 deficit to take a lead with under three minutes left, hitting five of their seven 3-pointers.
The Wildcats (14-1, 22-2) regained the lead with 2½ minutes to go on Karli Wendlandt's two free throws.
Abbey Knisely gave NLS the final score by sinking two shots from the charity stripe with 10 seconds left. She finished with a game-high 14 points.
Becci Osterdyk scored 10 points for Mora.
