DAWSON - Dawson-Boyd came out on top in a battle of the Camden North’s top two teams, beating Lac qui Parle Valley 62-45 on Thursday.
Justine Lee led the way with 28 points and 10 rebounds.
Alisa Hill added 17 points and hit five 3-pointers, and Kelly Husby grabbed 11 rebounds and scored seven points.
Alaysia Freetly notched 17 points, eight rebounds and four steals for LQPV.
The Eagles (4-1, 4-1) next play Saturday at the Lac qui Parle Valley Invite, and the Blackjacks (5-0, 5-1) are at the Redwood Valley Tournament on Monday.

Alicia Ervin had 14 points and Ali Siverhus had five points and five rebounds to lead MACCRAY over the winless Jaguars 44-35 on Thursday night.
Renville County West shot a cold 28 percent from the floor. The game was close in the first half, but the visitors held the slight edge by three, 17-14. After the intermission, MACCRAY would pull away to take the victory.
Mikayla Pharr had six points and eight rebounds for the Jaguars in the loss.
MACCRAY will look to keep up the momentum against Redwood Valley on Saturday at home. RCW will take some time off before they play Lakeview on Jan. 6.
