MADISON - Kelsea Lund netted 21 points after going 10-for-12 at the free throw line in the final 4:14 of play to help Lac qui Parle Valley overpower Montevideo 58-36 in a non-conference game Tuesday.
Montevideo had a 25-23 lead with 11:35 remaining, but the Eagles (14-2) soared back to hand the visiting Thunder Hawks (8-9) their fourth straight loss. LQPV got 14 of its final 16 points from the charity stripe as Montevideo committed 30 fouls.
The Eagles finished 31-for-43 from the line while Montevideo was 8-for-9. Alaysia Freetly and Kaitlin Connor chipped in 13 points each for LQPV. Connor also had 13 rebounds and five blocks.
Alexis Schmitz led Montevideo with nine points.
LQPV is at KMS on Thursday and hosts Minneota on Friday in a key Camden Conference contest.

The Dragons hung on in a non-conference game featuring two hot-shooting teams on Tuesday in Litchfield.
Litchfield built a 17-point lead by halftime but the Tigers, who shot 55 percent, chipped away at the lead in the second half.
Litchfield’s Macy Huhner hit seven 3-point shots for the Dragons, who shot 60 percent from the field, and finished with 28 points. Litchfield hit 11 of 20 3-point shots while the Tigers nailed 9 of 15 3-pointers.
