Girls Basketball Roundup: Wildcats topple Waska

GLENWOOD -- Alyssa Fredrick hit four 3-pointers, scored 17 points and had four steals to lead New London-Spicer to a 64-49 non-conference win over Minnewaska Saturday.

GLENWOOD - Alyssa Fredrick hit four 3-pointers, scored 17 points and had four steals to lead New London-Spicer to a 64-49 non-conference win over Minnewaska Saturday.

The Wildcats (3-1) led 32-19 at halftime and held Minnewaska (2-3) to 36 percent shooting from the field.

NLS’ Ashlyn Geister had 11 points and nine rebounds and Kabrie Weber posted a double-double with 10 points and 10 boards.

Minnewaska’s Taylor Amundson scored 17 points and had four steals, and Bayley Pooler finished with 13 points and five rebounds.
