PRINSBURG - Elli Stoel capped off a dominant performance with a go-ahead basket with just over one minute to play to lift Central Minnesota Christian to a 71-69 win over Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart on Saturday afternoon.
Stoel scored 26 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for a double-double, teaming up with Ellie Greenwaldt, who scored 28 points, to do most of the Bluejays' damage.
CMCS opened up a double-digit lead in the first half, but the Mustangs battled back to draw within four points at halftime.
BLHS made its run midway through the second half to take a lead of their own until Stoel and Greenwaldt led a late push.
