Girls basketball: Tigers maul Lakers

MORRIS -- The Tigers of Morris/Chokio-Alberta outrebounded Minnewaska 2-to-1 and pocketed 19 steals to earn a 61-35 West Central Conference win Friday.

MORRIS - The Tigers of Morris/Chokio-Alberta outrebounded Minnewaska 2-to-1 and pocketed 19 steals to earn a 61-35 West Central Conference win Friday.
Lauren Reimers had 13 points, Becca Holland 10 points and Tracy Meichsner 10 rebounds to pace the Tigers, who collected 40 rebounds.
Taylor Amundson had 10 points for Minnewaska.
It was the Tigers’ only home game in December. They opened the season with three away games and they will play six more on the road before hosting Milbank, S.D., on Jan. 5.
