BENSON -- Whitney Bertam of Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa shot a 96 in Friday's Section 5A-North meet and qualified for next weeke's section tournament.
The top two teams and the top three individual advance to play in the 5A meet May 22 at Little Crow Country Club in Spicer.
West Central Area won the meet with a 412 and Ortonville second at a 429.

Minnewaska's Emily Roering and Allie Ostrander were part of a three-way tie for medalist as the Lakers took top honors at their home courts by shooting a 326 to beat Woodbury by five strokes.
Minnewaska's Sarah Roering and Sam Falk each shot 85, tying for fifth place at the Minnewaska Golf Club.
