WILLMAR -- Maggie Leland of Alexandria didn't seem to mind the light rain that dampened the course at Eagle Creek on Thursday for a Central Lakes Conference meet, shooting a 73 to take medalist honors by 10 strokes.
Alexandria also won the team title for the fourth straight conference meet, shooting 342. St. Cloud Apollo was second with a 359. Willmar finished seventh at home, shooting 412.
Raelin Setrum paced Willmar with a 94.

Litchfield won both nine-hole meets to stretch its lead in the conference to 101 strokes over second-place Waconia. The Dragons can secure their third straight title next Thursday at the final conference meet at Albion Ridges hosted by Dassel-Cokato.
