DETROIT LAKES -- Dani Schultz scored two goals 1:22 apart late in the third period to cap a Morris/Benson Area rally as the Storm edged Detroit Lakes 3-2 in a non-conference girls hockey game Saturday to stretch their winning streak to 12 games.
Schultz netted the game's first goal with Sam Falk assisting on the scoring play. Detroit Lakes then scored 16 seconds into the second period and got a power-play goal midway through the third period to take a 2-1 lead.
The Storm (21-2) struck just under seven minutes later on Schultz's unassisted goal. Schultz then netted the game-winner with just 24 seconds left after receiving a pass from Sara Rajewsky.
