WILLMAR -- Willmar and Sartell needed more time to determine a winner, but 90 minutes was all they got as the two Central Lakes Conference teams played to a 0-0 tie Tuesday.
After 80 minutes of regulation the match went to overtime and after two five-minute sessions the match was still knotted at 0-0, so both teams earn a point in the conference standings.
Lucinda Sweazey and Sara Kallhoff had shots hit the crossbar for Willmar. Sartell had a goal called back due to an offsides penalty in the second half and the Cardinals also misfired on a penalty kick in the second half.
Jordan Martins made 13 saves for the Cardinals, who are at Worthington on Thursday.
